  • Brokerage Rate:

    Shows the brokerage structure for your selected trade type. For example, intraday shows “0.1% on order value, up to ₹20”.

  • Brokerage Applicable:

    The actual brokerage amount you will pay based on the rate structure. Upstox charges are capped at ₹20 per order for most trades.

  • STT (Securities Transaction Tax):

    Government tax on stock market transactions. Rates vary by trade type – 0.1% for delivery, 0.025% for intraday sell, 0.02% for futures sell, 0.1% for options sell.

  • Exchange Charges:

    Fees charged by NSE or BSE for facilitating trades. Includes transaction charges and IPFT charges. These are very small percentages of your turnover.

  • GST (18%):
